The Alzheimer's Caregiver Perspective
Harris Interactive was commissioned by Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation to conduct an online survey addressing the experiences, priorities, and needs of individuals who care for someone with Alzheimer's disease (AD). Developed in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, the study was designed specifically to gain insight into family caregivers':
- Experiences regarding interactions with physicians;
- Views on treatment priorities;
- Expressed needs for information and support.
The results were used to aid in the development of a variety of educational materials.
